Identification signage

Signs that answer “is this it?”. Identification marks the arrival — building, block, unit or plot — at the scale and material the architecture asks for.

How it works

Where this family sits in a scheme.

Identification is where a wayfinding system meets the building fabric. A unit number cast into metal, set into brickwork, or fixed to a perimeter gate is a permanent detail on someone's home, so it is specified like architecture rather than like signage — material, fixing and weathering first, graphics second.
